Equestrian

With extensive experience competing and coaching across multiple disciplines, I am passionate about helping riders build confidence, improve understanding, and develop a stronger partnership with their horses. Having successfully represented New Zealand as a Young Rider and competed nationally through to 4* level eventing, as well as show jumping to 1.40m and dressage through to Level 6, all on self-produced horses, I bring a practical and well-rounded approach to training.

My coaching focuses on creating correct foundations through quality flatwork, pole work, rider position, balance, and feel — helping riders develop effective communication and confidence both on the flat and over fences. Whether you are returning to riding, wanting to improve your confidence and position, or aiming to progress competitively, sessions are tailored to both horse and rider as individuals. I am passionate about sharing the knowledge and skills I have gained throughout my career to help riders better understand not only how to ride, but why things work, creating more confident, capable, and harmonious partnerships.

Equestrian coaching - all coaching is available at home in Loburn or at Mahara Equestrian Centre, Okuku. Also available off site including travel costs.
